The Nepal Engineers Association (NEA) UK recently hosted a vibrant Christmas Dinner event on 29th November 2025 at Sushi Moto Asian Fusion Restaurant, Aldershot. The evening was a masterclass in blending festive cheer with high-level professional networking.

The Afternoon Kick-off

The evening began with a warm welcome as members greeted one another, setting the tone for an engaging and interactive event. After initial introductions, everyone proceeded to enjoy a delicious and hearty lunch, providing the perfect informal start to the day's proceedings.

Breaking Barriers: The Ice Breaker

During the meal, the hosts introduced an exciting Ice Breaker game designed to spark conversations and help attendees learn more about each other beyond their CVs.

The game was simple yet effective: Each participant picked a slip of paper with someone’s name. Their mission? Find that person and ask them a question. Some chose to discuss professional backgrounds, while others delved into personal interests and hobbies.

This interactive session proved to be a fantastic way to break down barriers, fostering deep connections among individuals from diverse engineering fields.

Following the ice breaker, the group enjoyed a full evening dinner, leading into the highlight of the night: Bingo. The room quickly filled with laughter, joy, and a spirit of friendly competition.
